Biography

Anahit Margaryan is an artist and illustrator based in Yerevan. From a very young age, she always had a deep-rooted interest in classical music and Disney’s golden age animations. These went on to stoke the flames of her imagination and inspiration in life to become an artist.

After figuring out her true passion, Anahit took off on her artistic journey and joined an art school, attended an art college and finally graduated from the State Academy of Fine Arts of Armenia with a bachelor’s degree in Art. This opened up the avenues for her to gain rich experience in this field. She worked at companies with diverse fields and professions which only broadened her artistic vision and made her a true professional of her craft.

Anahit’s diverse work experience has given her the ability to draw inspiration from various contemporary illustration styles and trends, and create her own masterpieces. The artist considers the international advertising industry, the fashion industry and animation to be the main sources of her inspiration. She also finds that the people around her can sometimes provide the right elements to spark her creativity.
