Biography
Anna McKeown, known as ‘Pop and Toast,’ is an Irish artist, born in Belfast and living in Dubai. She graduated in Fine Art from the Glasgow School of Art in 2009 and spent time studying at Cal Arts in Los Angeles. She has exhibited worldwide and has featured in publications such as British Vogue & Cosmopolitan.
She takes inspiration from a range of subject matter such as fashion, popular culture, the female figure, glossy magazines and celebrity culture - Inspired by the unconventional, monochromatic and bold compositions of iconic photographers such as Helmut Newton and Mario Testino. ‘Her work is distinctive, fashionable and seductive.’ Arte Lusso
Pop and Toast has become synonymous with contemporary, bold & desirable bottle paintings in particular champagne bottles - with clients such as Clase Azul, McConnell’s Whiskey & Jawbox paving the way for collectors of all things glamourous.
