“Deceptive Calm” captures two characters lounging atop an enormous eye, representing the precarious nature of balance and harmony in life. The eye, a symbol of vigilance and awareness, suggests that their moment of relaxation is fragile and fleeting. This artwork serves as an allegory for life's constant search for tranquillity amidst chaos. The characters' unaware state emphasises the delicate equilibrium we strive to maintain. The piece reflects on the human experience of navigating life's complexities while seeking moments of peace.
