Biography
Mary Badalian is an accomplished contemporary visual artist based in Yerevan. With a degree in law, Mary has continuously developed her artistic self and started a unique journey. Her passion for art expanded her horizons and brought a significant recognition, taking her artworks to international exhibitions and galleries.
While pursuing her law degree at the esteemed Slavonic University of Armenia, Mary developed inner passion for art as a self-expression. This revelation was followed by unique artistic journey which expanded her horizons. Her extraordinary style and technique are mostly dedicated to her beloved Granny, a talented embroiderer, whose genes were strongly transferred to Mary.
She perfectly combines feminine craft with fine art, with a delicate touch of innovation.
Currently Mary is furthering her education at the Institute of Contemporary Art Yerevan and pursues new and better ways of her artistic expression.
