In honor of World Autism Month, ftNFT is excited to showcase "Autistic. Artistic. Abdulla" an exhibition featuring the talented Emirati artist Abdulla Lutfi. His striking hand-drawn black-and-white illustrations provide a witty and bold perspective on everyday life in the UAE.
Lutfi, an incredibly talented autistic savant, has crafted a one-of-a-kind artistic language that shines with precision, focus, and a touch of humor. His artwork tells rich, layered stories that are both playful and intuitive, offering keen insights into the vibrant people of the UAE alongside its stunning skylines. With a unique perspective, he transforms the everyday into striking, meaningful pieces. Having showcased his work worldwide and teamed up with brands like Emirates, Amazon UAE, and Converse, Abdulla’s art serves as a bridge between cultures and invites us to rethink our perceptions.
In addition to creating art, Lutfi serves as a lecturer, mentor, and supporter of those with special needs. Through seminars, public speaking engagements, and a sincere goal to enable artists with disabilities to express themselves in a meaningful and authentic way, his influence is widespread.
